Look-alikes in Ontario

Three-leaved false Solomon's-seal (Maianthemum trifolium) and Canada mayflower (Maianthemum canadense) are smaller plants (under 40 cm and 25 cm, respectively) that produce similar-looking berries that are not recommended. They both differ in that the berries are clustered in a raceme rather than in a pyramid-shaped panicle.
