Look-alikes in Ontario

A number of raspberry-producing species of Rubus are somewhat similar in appearance but differ most obviously in that the raspberries ripen to red rather than black.

See also Alleghany blackberry and its look-alikes, all of which are edible but differ in that the berries remain attached to the receptacle when they are harvested (i.e., they are not hollow).
