- heel pad has two lobes on the leading edge, and three lobes on the hind edge.
- the two front toes are not perfectly symmetrical.
- toe pads are teardrop-shaped.
- lynx prints are similar to cougar prints.
- lynx hunt both during the day and night.
- lynx eat medium and small sized mammals (deer to mice)
